Minster Benefit from Long Term Service
24th June 2011 05:53
Minster Computer Systems are rewarded with dedicated service from staff.
Jane Smith, who is employed as a computer programmer, joined the company in 1985 and recently celebrated 26 years service.
To greater understand how progressive Jane’s role was at this time, Microsoft launched its first version of Windows during the same year and home computers were very rare.
The Tamworth-based company, which trades as Minster Logistics Software, has recently been acquired by Phoebus van Deventer from previous owner Roger Kempshall. It supplies warehouse management software to Marks and Spencer, Wincanton and Brakes Logistics among many others.
Commenting on Jane’s long service, the new owner said:
“It is rare these days to encounter dedication and commitment at a level shown by Jane. She is a true asset to our company and an essential component of a team with a strong family feel.”
