John Fairhurst Profile

After his graduation in 1997, John joined Spicers Wholesaling as a graduate trainee where he developed an interest in software implementation and warehousing through placements in business development roles.

John moved to Brakes Logistics where he worked in operations and project management and later took a position in operational management with Sainsbury’s. In time, John became a key player in the development, support and configuration of WMS solutions and a variety of associated distribution systems. This role required him to lead the planning and implementation of complex network-wide WMS solutions.

In 2010 John took the opportunity to bring his customer-based experience to Minster. He cites the opportunity to be involved in a wider scope of activity in a growing and ambitious company as being a key factor in his decision to join the company.
